This project was originally just a photo of a birdhouse that sat in my book of snippits for years! I combined the line drawing of the birdhouse along with the chickadees and leaves to create this design. I love inking wood textures and by combining both pen sizes [the 3x0 along with the heavier #1], the inking goes very quickly and is so much fun to rouge. Most of my packets are designed on flat surfaces because of my travel teaching. You can adapt this to any surface as well as size, and as I always suggest in my seminars; feel free to add your own color choices to the finished inking! As a seminar choice: If projectors are going to be incorporated into the class, we can enlarge or reduce the design to fit the students choice of surfaces.
